IS Camera

An IS Camera is an (I)mage (S)tabilized camera. Image stabilization (IS) is a family of techniques used to reduce blurring associated with the motion of a camera during exposure.
With still cameras, camera shake is particularly problematic at slow shutter speeds or with long focal length (telephoto) lenses.

I use a Canon Powershot. The powershot model number SX130IS indicated the Canon Powershot Image Stabilized mode.

I really enjoyed using this IS Camera. Though in the Super Vivid mode, it can be difficult to get a sharp shot in low light. Still it IS a very popular camera, and I can fully recomend Canon Powershot SX130IS if you are looking for an IS Camera.
